Description

Bird watching, foraging, simply enjoying the natural beauty of East Tennessee from the water: this is your ticket!

Come on your own or bring a friend; either way, join me in my three seater canoe for two hours of whatever form of nature appreciation you like best. I’ll tell you about the birds we hear and see, the ecologies of the plants growing along the riverside, what’s going on in the water below, or even our unique geologic history. If anything edible is in season, we can take a sustainable portion along the way! Feel free to send me a message to check on what’s fresh right now.

Here’s the terms:

• If you prefer to use your own vessel, message me and we’ll arrange it – this includes group rates.
• PFDs provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it.
• If you’re interested in foraging, please don’t plan on harvesting a large supply to take home – much of this will be on public lands and waters, and so for the sake of both the wildlife and our fellow humans, we keep the harvest to what we can enjoy in the field (or stream, as it were).
